Returns
In Switzerland, online purchases are generally not subject to a statutory general right of withdrawal or return.
Motcom Communication AG may accept returns or exchanges after prior approval. Please contact us before sending anything back so that we can review and confirm the return.
Returns that have not been approved in advance may be refused.
Conditions for a return
A return can generally only be accepted if the goods:
- are unused,
- are complete,
- are in perfect condition,
- and are returned in the original packaging.
Excluded from returns and exchanges
The following are generally excluded:
- special orders and products procured specifically for the customer
- configured or customer-specific products
- opened software
- software and other licences
- spare parts
- hygiene articles
- used devices
- project, assembly, installation or service work already performed
- other customer-specific services
Return costs and fees
The customer generally bears the cost of the return shipment unless otherwise agreed.
For approved returns due to incorrect orders, Motcom may charge a return or processing fee of CHF 15.00.
Shipping costs, payment fees and costs for project, assembly, installation or service work already incurred are generally not refunded.
Any refund will generally be made within 14 days after receipt and inspection of the accepted return.
Defective or incorrectly delivered products
Defective products, incorrect deliveries and transport damage are not covered by the voluntary return policy.
Please inspect the delivery upon receipt and report obvious defects or incorrect deliveries as soon as possible. For business customers, the report should generally be made within 5 working days.
If a defect is justified, further handling is carried out in accordance with our terms and conditions and the applicable guarantee and warranty provisions.
Requesting a return
Please contact us before returning goods and provide:
- order or invoice number
- product
- reason for the return
- photos of the product and packaging, if applicable
After reviewing your request, we will inform you whether the return is accepted and where the goods should be sent.

This return and exchange policy summarises the relevant provisions of our General Terms and Conditions. In the event of contradictions or uncertainties, the current General Terms and Conditions of Motcom Communication AG and mandatory legal provisions apply.
